  8. AminetFileRequester is a Aminet recent mail and Aminet search tool.
  9. It was mainly designed, because I'm a very lazy person and 
  10. wanted a program that downloads, checks and unpacks Aminet files
  11. automatically. But I didn't find one that fit my needs, so I wrote
  12. AminetFileRequester.

  14. Features:
  15. - comfortable and easy to use MUI gui
  16. - mailer independent through the use of rexx scripts (script for YAM is
  17.   included, MD-II is planned)
  18. - you can download files directly without the use of 3rd party programs
  19. - you can request recent files via ftp-mail (supported is sending the
  20.   request mail while you're online or exporting it to your mailer)
  21. - auto offline function
  22. - virus check of received files through xvs.library
  23. - auto extraction of received files
  24. - powerful searching functions: 
  25.    - search for files in recent mails or on Aminet
  26. - detects Message-of-the-Day in recent mails
  27. - you can view readme files of uploads without getting the uploads
  28. - very configurable

  30. - and many many more things you have to find out yourself.... :-)

  33. Requierements:
  34. - MUI
  35. - a Miami compatible TCP/IP stack
  36. - an email program (scripts for YAM included)
  37. - a subscribtion to the "Todays recent aminet uploads" or "Weekly recent
  38.   aminet uploads" list. If you are not already subscribed then send a mail
  39.   to "listproc@mail.wustl.edu" and in the body "SUBSCRIBE aminet-daily
  40.   <your emailaddress>" for the daily list or "SUBSCRIBE aminet-weekly
  41.   <your emailaddress>" for the weekly list. You will then get every day
  42.   or every week a list with all aminet uploads. Cool, isn't it?
